Cultural Exploration:

  • Discover Sarajevo’s rich Islamic heritage, including Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, Baščaršija, and the War Tunnel Museum.
  • Visit Mostar’s famous Old Bridge and the serene Blagaj Tekke by the Buna River.

Humanitarian Service:

  • Spend quality time with orphans sponsored by Islamic Relief in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
  • Participate in packing and distributing food and hygiene kits for vulnerable families.
  • Meet IR team in Bosnia and visit IR funded projects supporting Bosnia’s communities.

Reflection and Spiritual Growth:

  • On July 11, visit Srebrenica with Shaykh Omar Suleiman to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the massacre. (Please note: this day involves physically and emotionally demanding activities and may not be suitable for younger children or elderly participants.)
  • On July 12, attend a conference featuring panels and working groups on the theme: “From Srebrenica to Gaza: Lessons in Justice, Resilience, and Advocacy.”

Family Bonding and Recreation:

  • Enjoy visits to parks and other landmarks, interactive storytelling sessions, and fun bonding activities and creative workshops. The hotel also offers attraction games for kids and various activities for different age groups.

The registration fee covers program admin costs, including accommodation, halal meals, transportation, entry fees, guided tours, conference fees, and humanitarian project supplies. Please note, air tickets are the responsibility of the participant.

Arrival & Cultural Welcome

Arrival in Sarajevo, welcome dinner, and light sightseeing to introduce Bosnia’s rich culture.


July 9 (Day 2)

Sarajevo History & Spiritual Reflections

Orientation, security briefing, and a historical tour, including a visit to the War Tunnel Museum and Cable Car.


July 10 (Day 3)

Service & Learning

Breakfast with orphans, shopping for essentials, and fun activities at Kinderland.


July 11 (Day 4)

Srebrenica Memorial

Attend the 30th Anniversary Commemoration, visit memorial sites, and reflect on justice.


July 12 (Day 5)

Advocacy & Cultural

Conference on advocacy and justice, interactive workshops, and a cultural night celebration.


July 13 (Day 6)

Exploring Mostar & Blagaj

Tour of Mostar’s iconic bridge, visit Blagaj Tekke, and enjoy adventure activities at Malak Farm.


July 14 (Day 7)

Humanitarian Actions

Package and distribute aid, visit orphan families, and engage with local community projects.


July 15 (Day 8)

Spiritual & Personal Growth

Reflect at the Spring of Bosna, and enjoy downtime. Followed by the Farewell Event!


July 16 (Day 9)

Departure Day

Departure from Sarajevo.
